Anywhere there is electricity available, ActivePure® can help mitigate the risks of spreading diseases and infections.

Manufactured in Bristol VA, products can be drop shipped as close as possible to the stricken area. Shelters become a vast target-rich environment for bacteria and illnesses to spread quickly, followed quickly by the strong odors associated with them. Relying on victims and others to use proper hygiene in an emergency situation is rarely feasible, as finding family members and pets takes priority over clean hands.

The optimal way to mitigate these situations is utilizing ActivePure’s In-duct models and having them previously installed in facilities designated as an emergency shelters. A close second would be to have portable units (like the AP3000) stock piled and ready to go at a moment’s notice. The AP5 BOE would also be of great benefit in the restroom facilities where contaminants spring into action. If generators are available, ActivePure would greatly reduce the spread of contaminants among the crowd within the first 2-24 hours, depending on the size of the facility and number of units being used. Treating spaces from as small as 500 sq. ft. to as large as great sports arenas, activTek has a variety of products to handle each situation well.

Industrial units are also available for clean-up and decontamination of the facility after the crowds have left. The activBlaster is the perfect solution to getting the facility back to its pre-emergency shelter status. It’s high-output, odor reduction and restoration system is primarily used after fires, floods and other damaged buildings where odor control is problematic, and where heavy odors need to be mitigated.

We have several mold tests available (as well as testimonials) from various organizations and NPO’s to show how well ActivePure® has done in these situations. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for these test results.
